What we have heard so far…stay tuned for more opportunities to add feedback soon

After holding meetings with community and neighborhood groups along the Harford Road corridor a few themes have emerged.

People think it is important to have some more signage welcoming people into the corridor at key intersections

The idea of using the lamp posts to hold sculptural cut outs could be a good way to help create visual cohesion along the corridor

The idea of creating sculptural cut out panels at pedestrian level would also be a good way to add visual interest along the corridor

It could be a good idea to create information signage/boards or kiosks in business districts

It could be a good idea to use specific color palettes and themes to highlight the different communities that connect to or abut the corridor

While trashcans are cool we probably don’t need to invest in artistic ones

It could also be a good idea to create graphics that could be installed in windows of businesses along the Harford Road corridor like the ones used for Light City Harford Road Glow

It would be good to coordinate with other projects happening along the corridor such as other painting and mural projects and construction as well to make a larger overall impact and not duplicate or create conflicting designs
